Great opportunity: gang bricklayer (Borno State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Kala-Balge, Borno State. You will be based on a new-build development. On the job you will handle: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Six days a week, one day off.
