Conventional mill operator — Murray County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Murray County, Georgia. You will be based in a toolroom. Day-to-day duties: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control Requirements: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
