Turning centre operator wanted in Berrien County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Berrien County, Georgia. You will work in a tool room. Day-to-day duties: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers What we are looking for: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
