Vacancy available: toolroom milling operator (Texas)

Join our team: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Upshur County, Texas. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. On the job you will handle: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges Requirements: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls Meals and transport allowance provided.
