Vacancy available: groundworker (Massachusetts)

Now hiring: we are hiring a groundworker in Berkshire County, Massachusetts. The job is on a road and bridge project. You will hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator. Ideal candidate: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
