Plant operator • Columbia County, New York

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator in Columbia County, New York. You will work at a drainage and utilities contractor. On a typical shift you will work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance. You should have: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
