Sewing machine operator — Greene County

Join our team: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Greene County, Illinois. The job is on an export house sewing floor. You will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. Requirements: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Full-time with occasional weekends.
