Bricklayer • Otter Tail County, Minnesota

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bricklayer in Otter Tail County, Minnesota. You will work at a renovation and extension job. On a typical shift you will raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays. You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
