We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry worker in Washington County, Florida. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection 6+ years on the tools preferred.
