Great opportunity: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Christian County, Illinois. The job is on a dam or embankment job. Ideal candidate: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine You will rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes.
