Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Day-to-day duties: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise Pay around £2,800 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
