Backhoe loader operator — Cherokee County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Cherokee County, Kansas. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Your main tasks: • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket Six days a week, one day off.
