Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Jefferson County, Oklahoma. On the job you will handle: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish You should have: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage 3+ years on the tools preferred.
