In-process quality controller wanted in Angus

Now hiring: we are hiring an in-process quality controller in Angus, Scotland. Day to day you will draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings. You should have: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols Pay around £2,700 per month, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
