Safety officer — Thomas County

Join our team: we are hiring a safety officer in Thomas County, Kansas. Day-to-day duties: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
