Immediate opening: we are hiring a container truck driver in Okpokwu, Benue State. You will work at a container freight yard. What we are looking for: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Day to day you will check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
