Great opportunity: argon welding operator (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Floyd County, Texas. You will be based on a structural steel site. Day-to-day duties: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Rotating shifts.
