Hand presser wanted in Gaston County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a hand presser in Gaston County, North Carolina. You will work in a garment export house. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings You will operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments.
