Lifting rigger — Aurora County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Aurora County, South Dakota. Your main tasks: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
