Vertical transportation technician wanted in Greenbrier County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Greenbrier County, West Virginia. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork Requirements: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
