PVC window installer — Clay County

Now hiring: we are hiring a PVC window installer in Clay County, Alabama. You will be based at a glazing and fabrication factory. Your main tasks: • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam What we are looking for: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
