Immediate opening: tower crane operator (Alabama)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Clay County, Alabama. You will work on a high-rise tower crane. Day to day you will follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins. Requirements: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift.
