Now hiring: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Autauga County, Alabama. The job is at a textile finishing unit. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Day to day you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; give each garment a final press before packing; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
