Lift erector — Howard County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift erector in Howard County, Iowa. You will be based in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Day-to-day duties: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear Ideal candidate: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
