Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in Kennebec County, Maine. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. You will segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
