Tree and shrub pruner — Gunnison County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Gunnison County, Colorado. The job is on the grounds of a hotel resort. You will prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs. Ideal candidate: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
