What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work The role involves: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
