We are recruiting: we are hiring a dogger in Colbert County, Alabama. The role involves set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
