Head guard / security supervisor — Shelby County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a head guard / security supervisor in Shelby County, Iowa. You will work in a CCTV control room. Day to day you will operate the boom barrier and check vehicles in and out; patrol the premises on foot at fixed intervals; operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door; hand over the duty register and brief the next shift at handover; check fire exits, locks, gates and seals during rounds. Ideal candidate: • Valid PSARA / security guard licence • Trained in basic fire-fighting and first aid • Basic reading of English and local language for registers At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
