Join our team: horizontal milling machine operator (Scotland)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Inverclyde, Scotland. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. On the job you will handle: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
