Brickwork mason — Anchorage Municipality

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Anchorage Municipality, Alaska. You will be based on a new-build development. On a typical shift you will brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
