Immediate opening: we are hiring a JCB operator in Montgomery County, Indiana. You will be based at a drainage and utilities contractor. What we are looking for: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs The role involves: • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
