Vacancy available: die-casting operator (Minnesota)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Goodhue County, Minnesota. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. On the job you will handle: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts 1+ years on the tools preferred.
