Vacancy available: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in San Benito County, California. You will work at a dry cleaner's. You will keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Part-time with flexible hours. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
