Blocklayer — Wahkiakum County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a blocklayer in Wahkiakum County, Washington. On a typical shift you will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
