Urgent requirement: VMC operator (Colorado)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a VMC operator in Crowley County, Colorado. You will machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges. Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
