Scaffolder • Comal County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a scaffolder in Comal County, Texas. You will be based on an industrial refinery shutdown. Your main tasks: • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment 1+ years on the tools preferred.
