Meat trimmer • Atchison County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Atchison County, Kansas. You will work in a meat processing plant. On a typical shift you will sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; season and marinate meat on request; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder. You should have: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling We offer $22 per hour plus benefits.
