Sewing machine operator — Grant County

Join our team: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Grant County, Indiana. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. On the job you will handle: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams We offer $29 per hour plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
