Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffolder in Wilcox County, Alabama. The job is at a commercial fit-out project. What we are looking for: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold The role involves: • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
