Finishing presser — Baltimore County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a finishing presser in Baltimore County, Maryland. On a typical shift you will shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work 5+ years on the tools preferred.
