Argon welder — Jada

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Jada, Adamawa State. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Your main tasks: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size Meals and transport allowance provided.
