Backhoe operator wanted in Valencia County

Join our team: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Valencia County, New Mexico. The job is in an open-cast quarry. The role involves strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance. What we are looking for: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
