Vacancy available: die-casting operator (Pennsylvania)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. On a typical shift you will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry 1+ years on the tools preferred.
