Ironing operator wanted in Ware County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Ware County, Georgia. The job is at a garment factory. On the job you will handle: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
