Bricklayer — Trego County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bricklayer in Trego County, Kansas. On the job you will handle: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go Requirements: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Rotating shifts.
