Pressman — Caroline County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pressman in Caroline County, Maryland. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work The role involves check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
