Painter and decorator — Bowie County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a painter and decorator in Bowie County, Texas. You will be based on a residential building site. You will carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover; apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls; fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps; measure up and work out paint and material quantities; work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers; hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams. Requirements: • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Working-at-height / PASMA scaffold ticket an advantage • A good eye for clean lines and an even finish 4+ years on the tools preferred. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
