Vacancy available: shakeout operator (Kansas)

Join our team: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Clark County, Kansas. On a typical shift you will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection 6+ years on the tools preferred.
