We are recruiting: formwork erector (California)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork erector in Sierra County, California. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Full-time, day shift.
